Weeping Cherry-Maple Chessboard
This is a regulation size weeping cherry-maple Chessboard with a mahogany border. The wood came from old dead trees in my backyard. The cherry was infested with insects and was badly punky and burled so it had to go through a process of resin stabilization. Then I went about building and shaping the board and frame.
This is a large luxurious chessboard. It feels very stately and important to play on.
